I bought SEVERAL of these keyboards for my entire office, and the majority of my coworkers have returned them to me after only a month or two complaining that it either freezes (won't type for several seconds, then types half of what you typed) or the keys 'stick' (not physically stick, but type the same letter 'ffffffffffffffffffffffff' a bunch after hitting the button just once). Just so you have an idea the following are the reviews from other people on DELL's website. This keyboard design is simply defective. I work in the IT field so it's not I haven't tried. The keyboard disconnects, spam, keys, lags input or simply doesn't write. Return window closed there is nothing I can do now. I purchased this here on Amazon on April 1 and by May 20 it was done. I don't know how Dell has managed to keep posting this on Amazon. So if you're a speedy touch typist, this keyboard will slow you down. This keyboard shouldn't be sold. I've got a picture of this that I took to highlight the issue, but eBay won't let me include it. The nature of the problem is this: the key will depress on one side of the key, but the plunger in the center doesn't. They'll oc casionally miss stokes even though I can feel my fingers pressing them. It appears the button's pressing mechanisms (not sure if it's a membrane, scissor, or hybrid membrane and Google didn't return any details) are not adequately set up and spaced to cover the width of these wider keys. I've paired this keyboard with my Dell XPS laptop (because the key sizes and layout are similar, it made for a very easy transition), a 21:9 Ultrawide monitor, and now a lot more work space and a much better productivity level! The keys in the center of the keyboard are very comfortable and responsive, and the ten-key keyboard is a great addition. My complaints are with the shift key and the spacebar key, the two biggest offenders in cheap keyboards. The mouse feels like a lesser replacement to my Logitch M705, especially in Excel and the browser.
